Hello, I just moved into home and the walls in all rooms have seams that are visible . What could I do blend in these areas?

Fixing seams
by: DrywallTeam

This is something that I have found happens a lot during renovating homes. A lot of home owners attempt to mud and tape themselves or they hire a so called professional who is still learning themselves. Their are a few options that you can consider the first being tapering the seams this will be done with a top coat drywall compound. You can read in are our drywall mudding section. In short it is expanding the seam to roughly 18 inches wide. Trying to taper it to make it non visible. The next option is to apply a textured finish this is often used because it is far easier. This can be done with a sponge and drywall compound or by a machine. The texture will actually hide the imperfections in the walls so that they will not be visible. You will notice this in almost any apartment complex. Since they have a high rate of drywall holes it is makes it much easier to hide.
I hope this helps.
