My folks live in a double wide. I have removed the stripping from the paper paneling and am taping and mudding the seams. The mud doesn't want to adhere to the paneling, only to the tape. What do i need to do??

Could I suggest to place some ads on your blog? I really love your style and your audience, I think halloween costumes will be interested for them.
I will you pay the amount you want, answer me, please! Thank you!

Help Mudding NEW
by: Drywall

What type of mud are you using? Is the mud really wet? What is the temperature of where you are mudding? Did you let it come to room temperature before trying to apply it?Is it standard drywall or what is being used for the wall covering?
These questions will help resolve some issues of why mud will not stick.
If you can give me a little more insight I will do my best to help you.
