We are doing a drywall replacement on a small section of wall. We were supplied glue backed roll of drywall tape. My crew were told that with this tape the joints do not have to be mudded - is this true? I have always used paper with the idea of pre mudding the joint, then applying the tape and fairly lightly squeezing the tape into the mud. enough pressure to bond, but not too much to squeeze out too much mud. Can anyone give me more info on this glue backed tape and application instructions for joint seaming
Thank You
